  • "I had the pleasure of working with Carrie during her four years at the City of Brampton. In a complex municipal presenting environment, she was a steady and collaborative contributor to our marketing, communications, and audience engagement work. Carrie understands the performing arts from both sides of the table. She brings an appreciation for artistic vision alongside a practical understanding of the operational, financial, and audience realities that arts organizations navigate every day. That perspective allows her to approach strategy with nuance and clarity. As she relaunches her consulting practice, I am confident that organizations engaging Carrie will benefit from her sector fluency, professionalism, and ability to align creative priorities with sustainable organizational goals. She is thoughtful, solutions-oriented, and genuinely committed to helping arts organizations do their best work."

  • "Carrie Libling is one of those rare people who makes everything around her better. The work, the room, the team. I have worked alongside Carrie for more than two decades, watched her grow through nearly every corner of our organization, and trusted her with some of our most important responsibilities. I recommend her without hesitation. Carrie came to us first as a performer. Gifted, committed, and immediately someone you noticed. But her ambitions and abilities ran deeper than the stage. We brought her on as Program Director of our Vital Voices education initiative, where she built and ran acting programs for young people, directed student showcases, and led a team of teaching artists with both artistic seriousness and genuine care for the kids she served. She went on to direct numerous productions for Vital Children's Theatre, including The Changeling, The Tempest, Calling All Toys, Extraordinary, The Nastiest Drink in the World, and The Mask of the Dancing Princess, among others. During this time, the company received an Award for Overall Excellence from the Off-Off Broadway Review. She rose to Head of Vital Children's Theatre, overseeing the creative and operational direction of our entire family programming division. When she transitioned out of that role, we asked her to stay, as Children's Theatre Consultant and as a member of our Board of Directors. That says everything about how we felt about her. When Vital Theatre was ready to expand internationally for the first time, there was no question who we trusted to lead it. As Director of Family Programming in Canada, Carrie launched Pinkalicious, The Musical at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, our first production outside the United States. She built that initiative from the ground up, navigating international logistics, cultivating local partnerships, and delivering the standard of quality our audiences expect. She made it look easy. It wasn't. What makes Carrie exceptional isn't any single skill. It's the combination. She is a creative thinker and a practical executor. She leads with warmth and holds high standards. She earns trust quickly and keeps it. Whatever she is building next will be better for having her at the helm."

  • “Carrie Libling is a tireless, tenacious and brilliantly intuitive arts leader. As Head of Marketing for The Rose and Brampton On Stage and through her creative work with Electric Moon Theatre Company, Carrie blends strategic vision with genuine warmth. Working with Carrie feels like collaborating with an old friend: effortless, inspiring, and deeply supportive. She elevates every project she touches and brings out the best in everyone around her.  The work is personal and inspired, made more robust by her experience of working from the artist’s perspective and from the presenter lens.”
